3 Letters + word Reflection

Image
3 Letters + Word  My process of drawing this one was to first start off by making my Framal Reference(6x6). After that, I take use a Compass to make a circle in the middle. Then around the circle i trace the word Lol in the font helvetica around the circle. Then i Trace a capital S in the font garamond. Then i trace a lower case d and y in the Baskerville and Rockwell font. Then i realized that if i colored in the letter you wouldn't see the lol so i decided to turn the circle in the middle into a Capital O in the rockwell font. And then i colored in all the letters with a sharpie to change things up from my last project and i finished it.

3 Letters Reflection

3 Letters   My process of drawing this one was to first start off by making my Framal Reference(6x6). After that, I take the transfer paper put it on the computer screen, and trace out a capital Y in the type classification Slab Serif. Then I put the transfer paper under the page and traced the Y onto my Framal reference. Then after I trace a lowercase d in old style and put it on top of the y to the left. Lastly, I  trace a lowercase s in transitional and put it on the right of the Y at the top. Then the final touch was to outline everything in a sharpie and color the background and done.

Exploring Repetition Final

Image
Repetition #1   My process of drawing this one was to first start off my making my Framal Reference(6x8). After that i drew one big circle to the right and two medium to small sized circles to the left. then i started drawing more circles around the 3 main circles to make it look the circles were in depth. then i outlined the circles and everything with a thin sharpie then colored the rest with a think pointed sharpie. one thing that i like about the end results is how the circles look like there falling or something like that.    ______________________________________________________________________ Repetition #2 My process of drawing this one was to first start off my making my Framal Reference(6x8). After i do that i draw a flower in the middle with six petals and draw a curved line coming out from each intersecting petal. Then within the empty space i draw curved lines. Then i go over everything with a thin sharpie. Now the hardest things was to decide if ...

Repetition With Paper Shapes

Image
The process of creating this was to start by picking a design that my group and I wanted to repeat. then we started to plan out what colors we wanted to use and how we were going to organize the shapes. we had a tough time picking out the colors because my teammate wanted another color while I wanted another one but we figured things out.  After we picked everything, we started to cut out the shapes. we cut 5 squares and circles of each shape to make sure we had enough to cover the whole poster paper. We all worked together to cut out shapes. 2 people would draw the shapes and the other 2 would cut out the shapes. Then we started to tape them together and put them on the poster paper. I believe that we achieved in creating the form of repetition because we used all colors to create the repetition. I collaborated with my team to create this by cutting out the shapes and arranging them on the paper. I ...

Bridget Riley  Bridget Riley was born on April 24,1931, In London. Her Father and grandfather were both printmakers, so art was always a part of her life. She Studied at Cheltenham Ladies' College and later art at Goldsmiths College and the Royal College of Art in London. She worked as an art teacher where she began to explore shapes, lines, and light. Her work shows repetition by her arrangement of repeating lines, shapes, and colors that appear to move, vibrate, or pulsate when viewed by a person. Each element gains meaning and impact through its relationship with its counterparts, offering the viewer an evolving experience that changes with each time you look at it.  M.C Escher  M.C Escher was born on June 17, 1898 in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. From 19191 to 1922 Escher studied at the School for Architecture and decorative arts in Haarlem, Netherlands. He was the youngest of five boys and was raised by his father. Interrelationship of Forms

Image
Detachment   My process of drawing this one was to first start off my making my Framal Reference(6x8). After that i drew a triangle using a Straightedge. The using a compass i drew a circle at the top of the triangle to make it look like the circle is detaching from the Triangle. After everything looked good to me , i went in with a thin sharpie to outline the shapes. The next step was crucial to make it look clean. After i outlined the framal reference i put tape on the outside around the framal reference and also around the shapes and start to color in with a thick sharpie.   ______________________________________________________________________ Touching  My process of drawing this one was to first start off my making my Framal Reference(6x8). After i do that use a straightedge to draw two squares in the middle touching with no space in the middle. Then i go in with a sharpie to outline the framal reference and the squares. Then i used the method i used...

Principles Of Design Photography

Balance  This Image shows balance because the papers are all evenly spaced and symmetrical.  Contrast This Image shows contrast because we see something bold against something that is not as bold.   Emphasis  This Image shows Emphasis because we can see a flower being crated and different things happening around it.  Proportion  This Image shows Proportion Because its on a big canvas that had different shapes of different sizes.  Pattern  This Image shows Pattern because all the shapes are similar across the entire book Unity  This Image shows Unity because the shapes come together to create The R.
